13th south Asian games 2019 (Kathmandu and Pokhara)

Pakistan has completed its century of medals in 13th south Asian  Games 2019. 13th south Asian games 2019 are being organised in the cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara Nepal. Event is scheduled from 1-10 December 2019.

In the competition performance of Pakistani athletes has remained phenomenal as Pakistan squad managed to bag a total of 116 medals from the event. In total Pakistan got 29 Gold medals, 33 silver medals and 54 Bronze medals.

Pakistani athlete Tayyab Aslam defeated Indian athlete Harminder Pal Singh in the Squash final by 3-1 to snatch gold. Pakistan also defeated India in the hand ball by 30-29.

On points table India is on the top by having 255 medals in total followed by the host Nepal which is having 166 medals in total. On points table Pakistan is at number four spot followed by Bangladesh Maldives and Bhutan. So far India has won 135 gold medals, 79 Silver medals and 41 Bronze medals.

Nepal has won 45 gold medals, 45 Silver medals and 76 Bronze medals. Siri Lanka has won 36 Gold medals, 69 Silver medals and 93 Bronze medals.
